I hope you had a good week! A few days ago my phone, or maybe I have to say smartphone (sorry I’m a “young of the past” as people say where I come from!) reminded me with a picture of my son Edoardo, that you can see here below, the period when I was revolutionizing the structure of my company to have physically inside it more space where can work and doing tests, and exactly in that period I was also working on my first “little kits” so yes, it’s time now to talk about them, even because they are perfect if you are planning a well done dirt bike suspension service, that will improve your front fork’s performance.
EXA KIT FOR WP OPEN CHAMBER – CHOOSE IT ON YOUR NEXT DIRT BIKE SUSPENSION SERVICE
Overall my “first first” experiment of little kit was the Exa Kit in 2013/2014. Once that I’ve done the Sphere Kit, I’ve immediately started thinking about a simple kit, that has to be very fast to install, simply doing few and easy passages doing a dirt bike suspension service and it has to improve the front fork without change the entire internal part.
The result of my studies, was the Exa Kit. Who as tried it, knows that is a very simple kit to improve the performance of WP Open chamber fork, made of pistons (for compression and for rebound) in ERGAL 7075 T6 and valving to change. If I look at it now, yes I say that is very elementary, but I am proud of it because anyway it works well and after 10 years people buy it and are happy of its performances. So if you are not so satisfied of your WP Open chamber fork, next time that you go to your trusted suspensionist to do a suspension service on your dirt bike or specifically dirt bike parts, ask him to install Exa Kit!
NEXT STEP – RAY KIT FOR WP 4CS – PERFECT DIRT BIKE FRONT FORK SUSPENSION SERVICE!
After the Exa Kit, as riders complained all the time about the WP 4CS, I’ve created the Ray Kit to improve this “complicated” front fork, and it is another product which is still in high demand today. This kit was for sure a good attempt to improve my knowledges in the suspension’s sector.
The Ray Kit is made in ERGAL 7075 T6 and some parts are in teflon. There are 2 compression nuts, 2 pins with rebound calibration, 2 compression clicker and 2 adjusters to increase the springs’ preload.
Simply isolating the compression in the lower part and the rebound in the upper part of each legs, the oil flow double and you have more fluidity and feeling with your front fork and clearly with your bike too!
So this is another amazing products, that could do the difference on a dirt bike suspension service!
You know that you can find it in 3 models: Ray Kit 2013-2015; Ray Kit 2016 and Ray Kit 2016 MX version.
AND PROCESS IS ALWAYS THE SAME…
As for Sphere Kit, the process to arrive at the end product is exactly the same.. All started with the study and design on CAD, machine the prototypes, tests on dyno shock, on track etc… It seems impossible, but for every single products that I do, the emotion during the process and at the end when I can finally see the result of my job, is always big and every time I think “Damn, I love my job!”
With these two kits my range of products has began to grow, so I can offer different choices to my customers and you can choose the product that is in your opinion better for you, for your discipline etc. And remember that my products are very simple to install or to maintain when you do the usual dirt bike suspension service.
JUST A FUNNY GLIMPSE OF MY STORY
Probably you have wondered what does the picture of my son have to do with this post about my Kits and why it reminded me about them. It tell you taht right now!
In that period me and my wife (we were with my father Rino the only workers of my company, no other help) worked until late in the evening and my son Edoardo, who was 2 years old, in the afternoon after the nursery school was always with us in the workshop and his games had become my screwdrivers and all my tools (they are also today “must have toys” for my kids!).
An hard period that I remember always with a big smile, because I was with my family and I had its support. We come home tired, dirty ( you can see my son’s hands ahahahhaha 😂😂), eating a slice of pizza before collapse in bed, but we were absolutely happy!! And we are still happy today because we share all of this in family… Yes, I am lucky man!
